Celebrating 12 years of happy hounds!

Hounds of the Heartland is a chapter of Greyhound Pets of America. We have been in operation since March 2000. Starting with a very small group of volunteers, we made a commitment to making greyhound adoption an option. We are dedicated to finding loving, responsible homes for retired racing greyhounds that can no longer race and for young greyhounds not placed on the track. Somewhere there is a home for EVERY hound, and we are going to find them! We hope you will join our efforts to educate others about what wonderful pets greyhounds make. Long Live Adoption!
